MAKE TWICE THE IMPACT WITH YOUR DONATION TO OUR CLASS OF ’77 GIFT FUND!...

As an incentive to all ’77 classmates to help with our Class Gift campaign, five of our grads have jointly committed to match all donations made during this year’s WPC that are directed to the “Class of 1977 Gift Fund,” up to $200,000!

NEW THIS YEAR – A “CLASS UNITY” BONUS!...First-time donors to our Class Gift Campaign can trigger bonus $$!

With 2 years to go until our 50th Reunion, almost one-fifth of our Class of ’77 living graduates (125 of our brothers, to be exact) have not yet participated in our Class Gift Campaign. To encourage classmates who are still on the sidelines to join our campaign and help demonstrate our Class Unity as we bestow our final, legacy gift to West Point, a few of our grads have committed to a “CLASS UNITY” BONUS fund, which will contribute an additional $500 to our Class Gift Fund for each new, first-time participant who directs a donation to The Class of ‘77 Gift Fund between April 7th and the end of the WPC on May 8th. [Bonus valid for up to 60 new participants!]

§  If you’ve already made a pledge toward our Class Gift: Our hope is that you’ll use the WPC as an opportunity to make a partial payment toward your pledge. For example, if you’ve planned to pay off your pledge in annual installments, why not make your 2025 installment during the WPC where it can trigger a matching contribution and count for both the WPC and the Class Gift Campaign? Just click the “MAKE A GIFT” button above, enter the amount you want to give now on the next screen, and on the subsequent screen respond “Yes” to “Is this a pledge payment?”

§  If you haven’t pledged at one of our donor recognition levels: Please consider joining the majority of our class who’ve already made donations of $1,977 or more, or who’ve made pledges to do so. The easiest way to do this is online at our Class of ’77 Giving web page (www.westpointaog.org/giveto77). At this site, in the “Gift Project” block where it says “*To make a new pledge, please fill out and return the pledge form,” click the pledge form link, print and fill out the form that comes up, make sure to sign it and send it in to the WPAOG address at the bottom of the form. Pledge payments can be made in a lump sum or spread out over time, so long as the pledge is fully paid off by March 31, 2027. Many classmates find automatic monthly payments to be most convenient. For example, a pledge now of $1,977 could be paid off in 24 monthly installments of $83 in time for our 50th Reunion.

§  If you aren’t ready to pledge $1,977 or more: please join our Class effort by clicking the “MAKE A GIFT” button above and pitching in to help with $5, $77, $500, $770, or whatever you can during the WPC. If you are a new, first-time donor to our Class Gift campaign, you’ll also trigger a $500 bonus to our Class Gift Fund from the “Class Unity” Bonus pool (See the green box above).

§  If you’re already making automatic monthly payments on your pledge: your May payments will automatically count for the WPC, even if they fall outside the 5-day WPC window.

§  If you’ve already paid off your pledge: Thank you! Please consider scoring one for the Class in the WPC participation competition with a small additional contribution ($5 is the minimum contribution to count for the WPC).

If you wish to make your donation in memory of a deceased classmate, you can do so by making an entry in the “Comments/Give in Memory” block in the “Additional Details” section. A list of our deceased classmates can be found here.
